How can I do this with Open GL?

Is there some way i could make an object have a metal type color so that the objects around it would reflect off of it? if so how? --------------------------- X to da Z!

Go to Nehe''s and look at the reflection using the stencil buffer tutorial. Or, look around NVidia.com, they have some good reflection methods for their newer video cards.

What will do best for you is whats called Environment Mapping. The best one is Cube Environment Mapping. I think there is a demo w/ source on nvidia''s site. At one time, i saw a demo of this on nehe''s site too. I think under the download section maybe.
