Drawing a sphere...

Hi, wanted to know how to draw a sphere, not using the glut function or anything just through a for look and triangle strips... hopefully that makes sense... thanks

My sphere is a simple conversion of his sphere, both handle texture coords, and are demo'd using quad strips. You can change the GLBegin to use GL_TRIANGLE_STRIP, it even improves performance.
