fscanf

fscanf doesn't really have that kind of functionality built in. You could probably read raw data with it, and then parse out the newlines, but that seems like a lot of unnecessary work when there are other functions that already do what you what. Have a look at fgets.

I did it with fgetc() already.....thanx anyway.

Now this thingy is up and running, things should go faster =)

Hiya, I'm using fscanf to read from a file, but.....I also need to know when a new line starts. So....I should be able to find the '\n' character. but I can't find a way to do this with fscanf. Is there a way to acomplish this by ONLY using fscanf??
