Problems linking a .Res file

I''ve been having some problems using the "Res" files with the Borland compiler, I''ve created an rc file and compiled it into a Res file. My problem now is linking the Res file to the executable. I''ve read the compiler''s help file and found something about ilink32, I''ve tried making it work, and as you can see I failed so now I ask for some help... The error that appeared was: "window.cpp contains invalid OMF record, type 0x23"

Are you using Delphi or C++ Builder? If using Delphi, then add the following compiler directive to one of your source files.

{$R filename.RES}

In C++ Builder, what if you just included the RES file in the project? That should link the resource file with the executable.

You can not give ilink32 source files they have to be compiled first like this:
bcc32 /c window.cpp

The linker can be tricky here is a good page:
