Restoring Surfaces

i had trouble in to restore surfaces. I am using (surface class)::Restore() function. Using this function works for non-complex surfaces, but when i using complex surfaces for using double buffering, then this function returns INCOMPATIBLEPRIMARYSURFACE error. Should i use someting else to restore complex surfaces rather than Restore() function. Is there anybody have an idea? YASKIL
