OK , I am making a RPG on a isometric tile map. Well i have most of my graphics done(and they do look quite snazy if i do say so myself) but the one obsticle that I have yet to over come if how to program a ISMETRIC TILE ENGINE. I already know windows and directX programming but I really get losy when I look at source code for ISO-tile engines. So I am asking will anyone tell me a good online tutorial/article that i could read that would give me the knowlege for my project? or even a book that I could go purchase would be very helpful. Well anyway thank you to anyone that posts a reply. you can lead a horse through water, but you CAN make him drink.(he may or may not drown with this process)
