I'm coding the login system on a website, and the login appears on a hovering layer. Problem is, very close to the Login area there is a flash area, and the hovering layer ends up behind the flash. Has anyone experienced this type of problem before? I've been searching Google, and apparently setting flash clip's "transparent" parameter allows me to make it work under internet explorer (meaning, the login hovering layer is drawn over the flash clip), but Firefox still renders the layer behind the flash clip.

Yes, indeed. In the object code for the flash player, you need a property called "wmode"

<param name='wmode' value='transparent' /> for the object tag and wmode="transparent" for the embed
