The best OpenGL book by far is the OpenGL Programming Guide, also known as the red book (b/c it's red ;).

Also be sure to check out http://nehe.gamedev.net

You could also try OpenGL Superbible. It worked for me when I was starting out (a long time back). From what I have seen, Beginning OpenGL Game Programming seems to be a good book to start OpenGL programming. Is there any particular place you are stuck?

What's the problem - the c code/maths or opengl commands ?

Beginning OpenGL Game Programming is probably the simplest GL book I've seen.

The way you say that you have "read through" the C++ books seems to imply that you have not written too many C++ programs, but know the language "in theory". If that's the case (ignore this if it isn't [smile]), then you might need to spend a little more time with the language.
