Sample Codes for novel Shader Model 4.0 Features like Geometry shader, Transform Feedback and Layered Rendering can be found at http://cvit.iiit.ac.in/index.php?page=resources Feel free to mail to the authors in case of any problems. i suggest you do the following before running the codes: 1. install the driver for 8800GTX card (get from http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp) 2. get nvemulate.exe (if using windows xp) and being administrator enable g80 features. http://developer.nvidia.com/object/nvemulate.html if using linux (which i do) put these lines in your xorg/xfree86.conf in the "Screen" section Option "RegistryDwords" "8F773984=7" 3. install the latest version of glee or glew whichever is your favourite (if using windows) 4. run glxinfo (if linux) or wglinfo (if using windows, get wglinfo from http://www.cg.tuwien.ac.at/~wimmer/wglinfo/) to see if you are able to see "GL_EXT_geometry_shader4" 5. rest is simple, 'make' the codes, see the screenshots, read the comments, have fun Also you can keep checking the link as more examples codes will be put up. Have fun [Edited by - skp on January 31, 2007 2:34:06 AM]
