Does anyone know how to convert a vertex/face lists to a halfedge mesh structure for mesh simplication? Or anyone knows about any existing examples online? thanks

Did you try Google? The first hit for 'mesh half edge' is this, which looks promising.

Actually, I did read that article. But it's still too complicated to implement that, since it's almost the standard data structure for mesh, I wonder if there is any existing source code for this part? unfortunately, I can't find it.
