Hey I was wondering, is there any way to work with coloring for directX like you do with OpenGL? OpenGL had a function called glSecondaryColor which worked on the dark parts of the texture and a function called glColor which worked on the light parts. I'm trying to make the dark part a redish color and the highlight yellowish! Any tips?

I'm going to take a guess and suggest that perhaps glColor corresponds to ambient or diffuse lighting, and glSecondary color corresponds to specular lighting. This page, or other related pages, may be of some assistance.
