Blending states

I'm trying to cast a stencil shadow onto an object with a fur material. Both the shadow and the fur material are being rendered using HLSL. The problem is the blending states; stencil shadows require the object having the shadow cast onto it be rendered with the blending states set to: SrcBlend = One; DestBlend = One; while rendering fur requires the blending states be set to: SrcBlend = srcalpha; DestBlend = invsrcalpha; Is there any way around this aside from using a different fur rendering method?
