GLSL Environment Mapping Question

Hey guys! I'm working on making some cool shaders for a school project some mates and myself are working on. After applying the environment (Sphere) to the vehicle which the player controls, I found it static (The environment mapping stays the same, no matter how much the car is turned and so fourth). Which doesn't look good at all. Is there a way to update the viewing position with a direction vector to have the environment map be less static and come alive as the player turns/drives the car? The code I'm using is from the Orange book. Pretty much copied 1:1, with some changes to function with our current engine.
