Advanced game audio technologies
Hi
Can any audio experts tell me any cutting edge techniques that used for modern game audio. I know quite a few of them, such as uses of new EAX, volumetric sounds, MacroFX, accurate real time sound generation from meshes, acoustic modelling etc..
I am making a list and want to know if i have missed any or if there are some new ones that were invented like last week which i dont know about?

Invented last week? That's an odd concern. Audio technology moves slowly. I don't think you have to worry that you might have missed something invented last week -- though something new might be presented at GDC next week.
