Hey guys, I guess I have some performance problems. All I've done is initialize a GLUT window and calculate the frame rate. The frame rate? About 106 frames per second on intel 915 integrated video. Add a GLUT wireframe teapot and the frame rate drops down to 11 frames per second. On an X800 GTO the frame rate is 200 fps with the teapot and 350 without. But since it's not drawing anything at all, shouldn't it be a little quicker? The only cause I can think of would be sloppy coding in the frame rate calculation, but that's pretty much straight from the GLUT documentation. Any ideas?

Thanks for the relpy!

With a few changes to rendering and lighting options, and changing the teapot to solid instead of wireframe, I was able to get the framerate up to 380 on an X700 Pro.

I guess the teapot is just a little big on the poly count.
