I've worked out a method for real-time rendering of ice, check out demo and screens here: http://thd.dyndns.org/IceProject/ If you're interested in how this is done, here's a paper describing the key features: http://www.ep.liu.se/ecp/019/001/ecp01901.pdf Feedback appreciated. /edit fixed broken link [Edited by - Sepultang on August 4, 2007 11:41:30 AM]

I'm downloading now.

How come its dated june last year?
I couldn't post anything until I got it published.
Thats really cool. Nice flexibility playing with the number of cracks and stuff. I'll have a read.
Snyggt. Love the cracks. ;)
(Runs with about 40fps on my old 9600pro.)
Brr... I'm cold just looking at it! By far the best digital ice I have ever seen.
Looks amazing, good job. The implementation is a little above me at this point but I appreciate you providing your method, thanks.
Very nice looking results!
Thanks! :)
