Hi, For my 3d editor, i want to create four panels for the top, front, left and perspective construction and view panels. How can i implement this behaviour using four Direct3D views? Do i need to create a D3D device for each of the views? Would be nice if you could help me, since i´m very new to Managed C++ / CLR. thanks Gamma_strahler

You don't need to create multiple devices. You create one device, and a swap chain per window (from the perspective of direct3d, a panel is the same as a window: so long as you can supply a handle, it'll work).

Refer to this tutorial:

http://www.codesampler.com/dx9src/dx9src_1.htm#dx9_swap_chains
