Calculating Z distance

Hi, I'm currently developing a small MoCap application. By using a webcam and several white dots on me, it's pretty easy to determine the X and Y value of my position. However, I'm not sure how to determine the Z value of my position as I walk towards the camera or backwards the camera. So I'm hoping some of you guys, here at gamedev.net could help me with my problem. Is it possible to accomplish this only by using one camera, or do I need to have more of them? Or can I somehow do some magic calculation to get the Z value? I was thinking about triangulation, what do you think about that? // Marcus
