Directx9 with c# tutorial

is there a well known tutorial for this. i found a good one for c++ and directx, but i need this to be in c# (making a game for a class).

Well first you need to decide if you want to use MDX 1.1 or XNA(both use DX9). MDX's function calls are the same as the ones from C++, so it would be easier for someone familar with C++ DX. XNA is the newer version, it's syntax makes use of .Net 2.0 functions(like generics).

There is one that uses 2.0, but I am pretty sure 2.0 will no longer compile. But hey...what the heck.

sadly im not sure about using mdx or xna, ill have to ask.

im actually doing an xna game for 360 for my final project though so ill probably need both.
