aparently, call funtion this way is not allow. function(); main() { //bla bla bla } but when this call is passed by complier. const char * c = g_object.getstr(94872); // c is global variable. is it legal in c++? g_object.getstr(94872) is called before main()?

As far as I know, initialization of a global object happens before that object is first used, but not necessarily before main.

I think you're thinking of function local statics. See C++ FAQ Lite [10.12], and the following [10.13] section as well.
