Hierarchy Mesh optimizations and/or instancing.

I'm curious as to any ways to do easy mesh instancing when using Hierarchy meshes and if there is any other optimizations I could do. Currently I am using many different models that have multiple frames in the x file, so each model might use from 2-5 draw calls. By the way, I am using the shader pipeline for all my drawing.
