Ok, so I'm doing nehe's opengl tutorials right now but would like a small break to do some networking stuff. I figure a mud would be a good place to start. Does anyone have some links to a good rundown and MAYBE a tutorial on making a MUD? I've played them, but would rather start one than obtain one. Thanks.

Look into the "MUD Game Programming" book for some ideas...should be cheap now a days. SimpleMUD is about as simple as it gets. I have the book and even though its in C++ and I use C#, its the under lying concept that counts.
