Can you predefine preprocessor directives in the g++ compiler.

In vc++ 2005 you can predifine your preprocessor directives so they will be global by doing so.... "Configuration Properties -> C++ -> Preprocessor Under "Preprocessor Definitions" you can enter your define." I am now trying to figure out if this is possible in the g++ compiler. Regards Chad
