steering behaviors?

Anyone know any good sites or anything I could use to find a good beginners guide to do steering behaviors? I understand the concept but I don't get how it would be put into the actual code. Any help is greatly appreciated! :)

Anyone know of good examples in 3d and C++?

I'm looking for wall avoidance in particular.
