Does anybody know about how to do this. Could somebody direct me to some good information on the subject. The game will not be in a windows form. I am talking about making stuff move around on the Windows Desktop like Strip Saver. Strip Saver is an Adult website, so I warn you before you go to it and download the program. Thanks, Chris

I think you'll find they're still windows :)

You can make windows without frames, taskbar etc, define your own clip rect etc, draw bits of the background on the rect and overlay onto that.

It's a bit of work but it would acchieve what you are looking for.

There are such things as Windowless controls too but they're not fun and aren't used too much (Unless you count things like Internet Explorer which uses them for most elements)

Run that program you're talking about (I don't want crap on my laptop so I'm not going to install it), and run "Spy++", available with Visual Studio, but available from the internet somewhere.

If you do "Find window" and drag the crosshair over the stripsaver doohdah you can see how it's been made.

Well I guess what you could do is take a screenshot of the desktop when your program starts, and display it in your program fullscreen.
