Quake 3 bsp loader

Hi im writting a quake 3 bsp loader and am having some trouble. I was wondering if anyone here could post a BSP loader they might have made, i cant seem to figure out why i can render the map correctly if i render using linestrips, but cant use trianglestrips, thanks
