openGL shaders and debian linux
Hi all,
I asked this on debian/linux boards but got no answer so I'm hoping someone here uses linux and can help me out. Thanks
"can anyone point me to what packages I need to apt-get to install openGL shader languages headers and libaries. I'm using Nvidia non-free opengl headers and libaries for standard openGL.
Thanks in advance for any advice "
Nothing special really; GLSL is compiled by the driver, and the needed extensions are ARB_vertex_shader and ARB_fragment_shader, instead of *_program.
Search for glew or glee to help you get the function pointers

That's for the old entry points. Use GL 2.0 entry points instead.
