bad argument(s) (collision_kernel.cpp)

I'm linking to ode through the compiler, everything was working great until I tried using collision detection: dWorldID world = dWorldCreate(); dBodyID abc = dBodyCreate(world); dGeomID geomID; dGeomSetBody(geomID, abc); dGeomSetBody(geomID, bodyID) is causing the program to throw a bad argument(s) error pointing to c:\program files\ode-0.8\src\collision_kernel.cpp:431 during runtime. The actual collision_kernel.cpp exists in that directory but I don't understand w hy I'm getting the bad argument(s) error during runtime...
