Hello, i got Windows Vista today, but is there directx 10 on Vista, because some websites say this, Vista has direcx 10 on, others say you must get a dx10 compatible graphics card. Well mine is Geforce 6100 so can i get direcxt 10 or buy a new graphics card Other thing, Is directx 10 going to be downloadable

The DirectX 10 (or more correct Direct3D 10) runtime is part of Windows Vista. But to use it you would need a Direct3D 10 compatible GPU with a Direct3D 10 driver.

Direct3D 10 itself is not downloadable. Only the extensions library is part of the normal DirectX redistribution.
