I've been using Windows XP up to this point. However, I found a bunch of tutorials for learning OpenGl and there's none of them for Ubuntu. I'm completely new to 3D graphic development. So basically, I need to setup OpenGL first. I was using http://nehe.gamedev.net/lesson.asp?index=01 As a guide but there's no Linux (besides Solaris) support. Can someone please lead me in the right direction for setup on Ubuntu?

You've got two options: you can either learn the native glue code (which I assume is probably GLX for X windows) or you can learn to use a cross platform windowing library such as SDL, GLFW, or GLUT.
