LPD3DXSPRITE problem with transparency

Hello! I just switched from the DirectX Sdk 9.a to .c and now i cannot display some sprites with alpha channels anymore. Instead the alpha channel is displayed without transparency for some sprites. I dont know what I am making wrong cause the textures are in the A8R8G8B8 format and the alpha channel is correctly set. I have startet the sprites with m_Sprite->Begin(D3DXSPRITE_ALPHABLEND); so it should work. Has anyone had the same problem with the new SDK? Thanks a lot!

Ok i have found the problem. I forgot this line: SetSamplerState( 0,D3DSAMP_MIPFILTER, D3DTEXF_NONE );
