Base changes in OpenGL

Is there a built-in way in which I can transform coordinates from one coordinate system to another? In the application I'm making I do a translation and a few rotations to get a car's local coordinate system, in which the car's wheels are drawn. Now I need a way to get the wheels' coordinates in the world coordinate system.
