I have an opengl application which is written in c++, running on a core2duo processor under windows XP. It is running on 2 Nvidia 7600's with 3 monitors connected making a total resolution of 3072 x 768 being covered by 1 opengl context, most of the time I get 60fps, as discussed on another thread 'Multiple Procesor weirdness'. I have another little problem which I wondered if you could shed any light on. 1 of the 3 connected monitors is displaying the image pefectly but the other 2 monitors suffer from a small amount of tearing at the top of the display. I am using double buffering via setPixelFormat() & SwapBuffers(). Is there anything else I can adjust to tweak the tearing out?

The only thing that really controls tearing is vsync so enable/force enable it on if possible. Check the driver settings. There should also be an extension for it.

I fixed this problem :)

I had to adjust the advanced timing settings for each of the geForce cards - changing the 'Timing Standard' to 'Coordinated Timing (CVT) Standard' did the trick.

Cheers
