Collision detection

Hi folks, I have this plane (152 triangles) (rotation) and this trackpart(40 triangles) (no rotations) And I want to calculate collision. my plane is translated and rotated by matrices. So if i don't do anything it is at the origin. The trackpart is translated to point 10,0,10 with a matrix where the Y axis is up and down. the Trackpart is modeled at the origin so the middle of the trackpart is at 10, 0, 10. How can I calculate if the plane collides with the trackpart and how can I retrieve the the angle so that i can make my plane react a little realistic. I have not much experience with collision detection so please be somewhat explainative :D
