What is the best practice for drawing sprites in Direct3D? BeginScene(); Begin(); Draw first sprite. End(); Begin(); Draw second sprite. End(); EndScene(); OR BeginScene(); Begin(); Draw first sprite. Draw second sprite. End(); EndScene(); [Edited by - murdock on June 1, 2007 10:46:34 AM]

BeginScene();

Begin();

Draw first sprite.

Draw second sprite.

End();

EndScene();

You can see it yourself making two examples:

probe 1:
BeginScene();
for(int l = 0;l< 10000;l++)
{
Begin();
Draw first sprite.
End();
}
EndScene();

probe 2:


BeginScene();
Begin();
for(int l = 0;l< 10000;l++)
{
Draw sprite.
}
End();
EndScene();
That's what I figured. Just wanted a second opinion. =)
