I want to make my own music, but I havn't had any luck with the programs I've tried so far. All I want to do is make some pretty simple loops for some background music for my games. I tried fruity Loops and a couple other programs that I can't remember the names of. Fruity Loops worked pretty well, but if there is anything easier, I'd really like to know about it. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post something like this and thank you for your time.

Hi Yahn,

From what you're describing sounds like Sony Acid Pro would be best for you. Acid Pro 6 now allows you to record audio, MIDI and "paint" loops then export them out in various audio formats. There are different versions of the software out there, so I'd recommend you take a look. If you're a student you can find academic versions for cheaper!

I hope that helps!
