Hello, I use Microsoft Visual Studio 8 to run the simple win32 console application with OpenGL. However, when I close the window of OpenGL, the console window remains and the program remains inside of glutMainLoop(). What's this problem? Thank you.

glutMainLoop() never terminates unless you call exit() or other abortive function, AFAIK. This means objects on the stack before glutMainLoop will never be properly cleaned up, nor objects on the heap unless explicitly cleaned up before exit()ing.
