I am having a problem creating a 3d cursor and getting it to work right in vb.net 2003. Here is what I have:: Gl.glLineWidth(2) Gl.glColor3f(0.0F, 0.0F, 1.0F) Gl.glBegin(Gl.GL_TRIANGLES) Gl.glVertex3f(-1.0F + xcoord / 100, -1.0F - ycoord / 100, 0.0F) Gl.glVertex3f(1.0F + xcoord / 100, -1.0F - ycoord / 100, 0.0F) Gl.glVertex3f(1.0F + xcoord / 100, 1.0F - ycoord / 100, 0.0F) Gl.glEnd() That draws an ugly cursor, just a blue triangle I having trouble getting it to move with the regular mouse. I have something like this in the mousemove event. xcoord = Me.ClientSize.Width - e.X ycoord = Me.ClientSize.Height - e.Y That doesn't move with the regular cursor. It would be a bonus if someone could tell me how to select objects in my scene also, I have tried the select and unproject methods but can't get those to work. A 3d cursor and ray picking method would be cool or just ray picking with the regular mouse would be cool. Thanks Steve
