If this belongs in the AI section, go ahead and move it. I still consider myself a beginner ;) I'm making a first person shooter demo in the Irrlicht Engine. Basically, I'm making a one level demo just to see the flow of making a game, and actually get a finished product that won't take me forever to make, but I can still be happy that I've made something. I already have my level made, and I've added things like some basic collision detection and physics. Now I want to add characters and implement some basic AI. I was wondering if anybody knew of any good tutorials or articles that explain AI for a first person shooter. I'm trying to learn the basics and work up. I'm making this demo for the learning experience and someday I want to maybe build on what I've learned to make a full game. All help is appreciated greatly. Thanks!
