[dx10] unbinding render textures

im using render textures as textures obviously :p the problem im having is that after each pass i need to unbind and render textures which have been applied to an effect. I then need to call Apply on the effect. If i dont do this i get errors about texture still being bound. Am i taking a performance hit for doing this? Currently i cant tell which textures are render textures, so i just unbind them all and call Apply.
