I found a use for AOL discs

Where I live we have a Circuit City and CompUSA and stuff. So, my friends and I went to each of these stores and took about 25 AOL discs each. What is cool is that the cd cases are DVD cases! So, I use them for all my CD-R''s that I buy on the spindles. I just flip over the cover and can label the case. They''re not hard to break with a 12 guage shotgun. Nuff said!

(Not that I have actually done that, but I think I had a friend who shot one with a .22).

I find that they break differently depending on who they''re from. AOL CDs break into fragments around the place where you snapped it if you snap it in half, and so are more useful as self defence weapons. LineOne CDs and Computer Magazine coverdisks don''t, however. They bend in the middle, and you have to bend them backwards and forwards until they break in the middle. It''s probably to do with manufacturing methods.
