I'm kinda stuck, I've rewritten the startup of my program N number of times now. http://warlock.campus.luth.se/forum/viewtopic.php?id=7 I am not even sure if the startup code that i have written is good or bad, or if i can expand the current structure. It's based on 3 classes, and one is not finished so i didn't even bother posting it. I use cBase for windows initialization, my DirectX class manages directx initialization and Engine manages both of those classes. The problem is that cBase contains the main message loop, wich my directx and (my still not written class) Render-class needs. I'm not sure how i should solve this problem in a nice way, and still make my code as modular as possible. /* Mike */

Oh, sorry, it's the engine-class that needs a loop. (I was just thinking that I'm going to pass the device over to the render-class.)

I have been thinking... how about threading? Is it possible to use threading as a way to skip the cBase's message-loop?
