Ok im making a snowboarding game Ive just implemented gravity and acceleration Now i want to make realistic turning.. where should i start? so far i have thought of torque, and friction.... im leaving out momentum for the game at the moment Any help!

No body has any suggestions?
Off the top of my head, what if you treated the snowboard as a particle and ignored angular momentum and torque? Turning would a perpendicular force on the board, and it would also cause friction so both should be applied simultaneously. I imagine there might be some correlation between the magnitude of the force and the speed of the board.

Representing the snowboarder as a particle? This sounds like a good idea because torque and angular momentum were going to copmlicate things alot...

How big is the force that the snowboarder exerts when turning? Is it perpendicular to the edge of the board? Can you help me a little bit more with this?
