Hi, I'm rather new here and i want to have a pleaseant stay but unfortunaly i have a problem.I began to program Open GL using Microsoft Visual C++, I worked with C for 3 years, but with C++ i'm rather new, so this is the problem: I get this error message at Lesson 1: error C2601: 'WinMain' : local function definitions are illegal Any help is welcome! Thanks!

You probably forgot a closing brace on a function higher up, so the code looks something like this:

int foo {
bar;
baz;
quux;
return 1;

int WinMain(bunch of Windows-specific garbage) {
// The compiler thinks this is a function "local" to foo, which is illegal
}
