OpenGL Change texture data after calling glTexImage2D

Hey guys, I have a question about OpenGL texture application. After I call the glGenTextures, glBindTexture and glTexImage2D to bind a 2D texture to the OpenGL system, what should I do if I want to change the texture data each frame with my code? Do I need to call some OpenGL method to update the gl texture data? Thanks for your help.
