How to save current client screen to a texture? Do I need create a texture? Which function is called when I create texture?

For DirectX 9 you can use IDirect3DTexture9::GetSurfaceLevel() to get a surface for a texture. Then use IDirect3DDevice9::SetRenderTarget() to set the surface as your render target. Render your scene and then use D3DXSaveTextureToFile() to save the texture to a file.
