i have added calender as activeX control. When i run this i get an exception window when i dbl click on some date.

And what's the exception? What language are you using? How is this DirectX related? Can we see some code?

I don't see how this is related to DirectX or even game programming. You've provided so little data as to make it impossible for anyone here to help you out. Help us to help you.

Do some reading of the many FAQ's on the internet about how to ask a question, then feel free to post back in the appropriate forum with a better formed question/post.
