near-plane clipping boundary conditions

I was just wondering if anyone has any near-plane clipping code they could share. There seem to be a large number of boundary conditions, and I'm not sure if there's a simple trick to handle them all smoothly.

If you're writing a software rasterizer, you might want to check out the book Real-Time Rendering

IIRC, it covers, in detail, any algorithm you need to know for rasterizing.
