Need to get CG to work in Linux
I dont know if this is the right place to ask this, but Im gonna do it anyway. Im trying to follow a NeHe tutorial on how to use shaders in OpenGL. It works fine on my Windows computer, but right now Im in Ubuntu, and I cant get it to work. First of all, it cant find the Cg header files. I tried to download them from NVIDIA, but all I get is a folder, named usr, with some subfolders, include, lib, local, bin and so on. What should I do with all those files? Or is there anything else I can do?
They should go in /usr on your file system. so that the usr directory in the file you downloaded matches with the one on your hard drive that way gcc will find them with out having to specify extra paths.
