When I enabled fog, the particle become very strange. This is the normal particle: This is when I enabled the fixed function pipeline fog: What happened? I'm sure that my card has D3DPMISCCAPS_FOGANDSPECULARALPHA set...

What rendermode are you using to render your particles (i.e. just alpha blended, additive, modulated, etc.)? Fog doesn't work very well with modulated effects because you're multiplying two independently fogged pixels. What you want to do is multiply first, and then apply fog to the result. Unfortunately this requires a separate post-process fog pass.

Thanks for the reply, but I didn't use modulate, this is just a alpha blend, so that's why I'm confused.
